The FutureSmartSM digital financial education program, sponsored by the MassMutual Foundation, has been used by more than 13,000 schools across all 50 states and has certified more than two million students. By 2025, FutureSmart is on track to reach nearly six million students.
Not only does the course teach critical real-world skills for middle school students, but it works. A recent study concluded that 90% of students saw a meaningful increase in knowledge after taking the FutureSmart course, compared to a control group, and results were consistent across all student demographics including race, age, gender, school year, and socioeconomic status.
